Purifying, Preslava PetrovaPurifying, Bilge Karci

It is the first bright day of spring
Beautiful day of joy and light
fullness of life for everything
brings the first bright day of spring
brings the first bright day of spring.
(Repeat from the beginning)
This is a breathing exercise and the text is not sung.

Purifying is a process of cleaning, of maintaining purity. Some examples of processes and states in nature, in the person (thoughts, feelings, deeds) and relations:

  • the rain purifies nature and washes out the streets;
  • people and animals maintain clean the environment they live in;
  • we keep our body clean by breathing/ washing etc.
  • with good words we maintain our relationships pure;
  • with pure thoughts and feelings we maintain our good mood;

“The blowing of the air signifies the words, and the moving of the arms outwards represents sowing the seeds of the words. This exercise… is an expression that reasonable words given through language need to be sown. It can be named as well: the introduction of the pure word into life, or the right way of introducing pure thoughts, feelings and actions into life”. [Beinsa Douno, Paneurhythmy, p.78]
