TEXT

Upward rise with all your might.
Be as singing birds in flight,
Heaven pours abundant light
On the souls that reach the height.
Keep the mountain top in sight.

IDEA

In this exercise we bow to a high ideal, to all the greatest in the world, and then jump up to strive high. We admire and respect ideals and also strive up to reach them. That brings joy expressed in the gesture of clapping hands. The person from ex.11 who can think, feel and act well can also jump high to reach beyond his/her reach, to develop full potential. Bowing to face the ground and then jumping up as high as one can are specific movements only for this exercise. Some examples for nature, person and relationships:
  • for the trees the Sun (light) is their ideal, so they strive as high as they can;
  • for the animals best living conditions are their ideal: water, light, food, warmth;
  • for a child his parents are his ideal;
  • at school the favourite teacher is an  ideal for the pupil;
  • in a love relationship the beloved is an ideal;
  • in sport the highest achievments and the best sportsmen are ideals;
  • pop stars and actors are ideals for beauty and specific skills;
  • for a reasonable person love, wisdom, truth are highest ideals.
.Jumping represents the triumph of Love and Wisdom as they have been applied in life. First we all bow before the Great, the Eternal, the Divine Principle that is working in the world. The jump that follows is our offering and expression of joy to the Creator. [Beinsa Douno, Paneurhythmy, p.78]
